TASK

Your successful completion of this webquet will consist of several tasks. All of these tasks must be completed in order for you to receive a final grade for the webquest. Begin with task # 1 because you will need the results of your research to complete the subsequent tasks.

1. Your first task is to complete all of the Titanic research which can be found on the "Process" page. You can download the required form here. Each question must be completed in your own words in order for you to receive full credit. There are a total of 21 questions that must be answered. Questions range from simple demographic information to more complex questions which will require you to think creatively. Use the results of your research to complete the following 2 tasks.

2. Using the results of your research you will create a travel brocure convincing potential passengers that they should take the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic. This brocure must be created under the assumption that you do not know in advance the fate of the voyage. The rubric that will be used to grade this brocure can be found on the "Evaluation" page.

3. Using the survivor interview information you researched (numbers 13, 14, and 15 on your research sheet) you will create a written first person account of the maiden voyage from a survivor's point of view. You will then complete this task by creating a multimedia presentation using one of two methods:

1. You can create a survivor account using iMovie.
2. You can create a survivor account using GarageBand to create a podcast.

You may work in small groups to complete this process. The rubric for this portion of the task can be found on the "Evaluation" page.
